Weekend Round-Up

4 Sep

The last official summer weekend round-up! Ok, so autumn doesn’t start for another three weeks or so, but Labor Day weekend is that marker that summer festivities are for the most part, finished. That being said, we did our best to make sure summer went out with a bang.

We attended our first Hollywood Bowl concert. John Williams (“maestro to the movies” as I believe he was described as at the concert) put on a wonderful two hour show.

We also managed to fit in some wine tasting with good friends on Monday.

And I made a classic spaghetti dinner with a homemade marinara sauce. Recipe coming later this week.

To top it off? A slice of banana chocolate-chip bread. Looking for a good banana bread recipe? Go here.

What a wonderful weekend we had! I must agree with Meghan that that teal sweater is a great color on you!

I plan to make spaghetti for dinner this week and look forward to trying your recipe. πŸ™‚
